the following message is from the principles in the Farrington complex who believe in part opportunity Presbyterians excellence and equity for all student hello fashion complex family I want to thank you and your children for your flexibility resiliency and the true level of great you showed this past year during the emergence of the covid-19 pandemic that everyone face the it was both inspiring and uplifting to see our community come together to help one another through this difficult crisis as we finalize our school reopening plans for school year 2020 2021 the health and safety of our students Educators and families remained of the highest importance we understand that this transition back to school will come with concerns and complexity and are Keratin Complex schools are committed to provide who model that reflects a culture of care that is consistent with the board of education's principles of giving hope acting with kindness and working towards together we care for each and everyone of you and are ready to welcome back with open arms as we are committed to reorienting your children to the new school year in the safest and most supportive way possible mahalo the teachers and staff of all of our schools are eager to see your children again in these past months we have been reaching out to our students to online meeting study packet letters and phone calls however we all know that the best learning environment is one where we all can meet face-to-face safely at school again in these past months we have been working hard to plan for students safe return cool that's my plan or a guiding principles are first the health and safety of students staff and Community second the need to provide the best learning environment for students Sanford the need to provide parents with a clear plan and schedule for having students return to school the most important factor that we are learning from watching what is happening in other parts of a country that has tried to open everything too quickly is that we need to do things carefully and slowly so that we don't have to return to a total shutdown like what happened in March and April social distancing staying at home if you're ill hand washing and wearing face masks are proven keys to our safe and careful return to school campuses in order for most of our schools to provide for social distancing in class at recess and mealtime our schedules and procedures may need to be temporarily changed for the sake of your children we need to reopen our school campuses slowly and with great care your kprr cakey and because of that we are dedicated to ensuring a safe environment for your students to return to we are training and equipping our staff so they can be fully prepared for covid-19 I came and Caitlin are teachers on how to educate your children on how to be safe at home and safe here at school will follow cleaning protocols to ensure that everyone is safe for example common areas like classrooms and bathrooms will be cleaned daily but will be given special attention to prevent the spread of covid-19 how to put supplies stop hand soap and towels and hand sanitizers will be readily available so we can all practice frequent hand-washing and hand sanitizing the health and safety of our cake and stuff are very important to on healthy habits begin at home each day before sending your cake into school fees and sure they're healthy and free from any donor if you suspect your child is sick please keep them at home also please ensure your child where is their face masks to pay me finally make sure that your information is kept up-to-date just in case we need to get The View revolving careful to keep ourselves and those around us well by wearing our math washing her hands and staying socially distance it's important to let your teachers know if you don't feel well in school examples are having a fever having a cough or sore throat so he's in school teachers know right away emotional well-being of our students and work with part families and communities to ensure that all students reach their aspirations from early learning through college career and citizenship we understand this may be a confusing time for students and their families please know that we are all here for you and you can contact your child School directly if you have questions concerns or if you need to be there in the various School services and resources thank you for your flexibility during this time of uncertainty we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to safely reopen please know that a new guidelines and information become available we may have to adjust our plans and procedures to maintain a safe learning environment for student thank you for putting your trust in us as we are partners care and education of your child all of our schools may look a little different when we open but we're committed to keeping our cakies safe and learning the Farrington complex schools supports the Board of Education City that eat School Community can contribute to a culture of care and collaboration by giving hope acting with kindness and working towards togetherness as we reopen schools we will reconnect with our students to build their confidence set goals and achieve their hope inspired actions it is their voice that will help shape the future of our world the goal of Farrington complex schools will be to provide some sense of stability for students and families especially for people who need the most help and most importantly will continue to work towards
